Here are the "How to" instructions to download your FREE Acrobat Reader for Windows '95 and above.

Step 1

• Click on the "Get Acrobat Reader" button to visit Adobe's web site.
• Select the "Language", "Platform" (operating system), and "Nearest Location".
  
• Insert your name and e-mail address
  
• The third box will show you the download size of the file. Click the red "Download" button.
  

• Select "Save this program to disk" and click "OK".
• "Save As" box now comes up. The two most important things to remember when downloading something is what you named it and where you saved it.
• The file name is ar40eng. I would recommend leaving this name alone. Press "OK" to start downloading Adobe's Acrobat Reader.
  (Download time depends on the speed of your PC and your internet connection.)

• Once the download is complete, there is one last step.
• Select Start, select Find, select Files or Folders...
• In the "Named" box type in ar40eng (unless you changed the name of the download file name) and select "Find Now".
• Double click the following icon .
• This will install Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 on to your machine. Once this is done you you will not have to install this again...
